Paid surveys scam?

What are online paid surveys? Who can take them? Are they for real or are they just an another scam? Can I make a decent income? These are the questions that many of you want to find answer to. I'm not going to have a list of scam sites or from those that actually pay you (not at least in this article) but to provide you with knowledge and risks in taking paid surveys online.

So what are paid surveys and who can take them? Basically you fill out surveys for cash mostly online. Many sites approve anyone to have these surveys but some have specific target groups which determines who the surveys get sent to. Also your residence affects a lot in signing in for the sites since there are international focus groups and for example only US residence focus groups.

Paid survey scam or a way to max up your monthly income? The unfortunate truth is that almost every paid survey site that asks you to pay a starting fee is a scam. There are many lists of sites for free for you to have. A very good example of one these sites is Yellowsurveys.com So in my opinion you should never pay for this kind of information because you can get it free. And the promises that these sites make for you about making a 250 $ per hour is total bogus. I haven't heard from anyone who would make that much money by only taking paid surveys. Truth is that you are only gonna make about a dollar per hour if lucky. Many reviews indicate that maximum income is about 40 $ per month for taking these surveys regularly. And this is achieved by signing in for hundreds of paid survey sites. I'm not saying you can't earn more but it is difficult.

How can I know if a paid survey site is a scam or not? A proper background research from the site is very important in this one. You don't just want to look for the first two or three reviews of the site you run into but to dig deeper and find few reviews that actually talk over about this site. And remember if they are asking for a starting fee that you "only have to pay once and then everything in the world is yours" or your credit card number, it's most likely to be a scam.
